Patients of breast cancer can obtain a preview of what they can expect for their own body prior to surgery and share these results in private with their partners, family and their surgeon.

This is BC Pre•vis.

A collaborative process which enables patients to see what they can expect for their own body.

Pre•vis 44- Oakland, CA

A pre-vis was created for this patient who was considering prophylactic measures as she carried the deadly BRCA 1 gene. The surgical option which she elected was immediate reconstruction with Diep Flap.

Pre•vis 38, New Orleans, LA

A pre-vis was created for this patient who had a failed prophylactic reconstruction and has lived for the last 3 years with painful and undesirable results. We worked with the patient and her new surgeon to help restore her confidence in the next surgical procedure to correct the failed reconstruction.

Pre•vis 32, Paris, FR

A pre-vis was created for this patient who had already undergone treatment for breast cancer, reconstruction, and was heading into phase 2 of surgery to finesse and complete the process of reconstruction. The surgical option which she elected was immediate reconstruction with Diep Flap.

Upload.

Photography: We will need at minimum 3 sharp photos taken with a smart phone/tablet, in front of a simple, light background, such as an empty wall with no furniture or other obstacles in the background.  Frame the images to include the bridge of nose to bikini line. Arms 2-3 inches away from sides.

Consult.

With patient: All patients must have a surgical direction from a board certified plastic, reconstructive or breast surgeon to initiate the pre-vis. We take what the patient understands from the surgical direction and apply the expected results onto the images that they provide so that they can share the vision from the same viewpoint which improves the conversation and let's the patient know in record time what they can expect for their own body.

Create.

BC Pre-vis lab: Once we have the photos and all pertinent information, we will create the pre-vis.

Share.

A shared vision:  When your pre-vis is complete, we will send you a private and secured link to view and share your pre-vis with your surgeon, family or support team.

“This is an incredibly powerful tool. My surgeon said that you were 100% within scope. Now I can go into surgery with hope and confidence.”
