Surgeons can improve the patient experience and leverage this visual technique to tell the transformational narrative.

This is BC Pre-vis.

A collaborative process which enables patients to see what they can expect for their own body.

Pre-vis 44- Oakland, CA

A pre-vis was created for this patient who was considering prophylactic measures as she carried the deadly BRCA 1 gene. The surgical option which she elected was immediate reconstruction with Diep Flap.

Pre-vis 38, New Orleans, LA

A pre-vis was created for this patient who had a failed prophylactic reconstruction and has lived for the last 3 years with painful and undesirable results. We worked with the patient and her new surgeon to help restore her confidence in the next surgical procedure to correct the failed reconstruction.

Pre-vis 32, Paris, FR

A pre-vis was created for this patient who had already undergone treatment for breast cancer, reconstruction, and was heading into phase 2 of surgery to finesse and complete the process of reconstruction. The surgical option which she elected was immediate reconstruction with Diep Flap.

Upload.

Photography: We will need at minimum 3 photos taken with a smart phone/tablet. Frame the images to include the bridge of nose to bikini line.

  1. Left profile
  2. Front view
  3. Right profile

Consult.

With surgeon: First we consult with the surgeon to understand the surgical direction for their patient. We'll also consult with the patient as well to incorporate their expectations into the pre-vis. From there, we apply the surgical results onto the images of the patient provided by the surgeon. The surgeon then shares their vision from the same viewpoint to their patient, improving the conversation in record time.

Create.

BC Pre-vis lab: Once we have the photos and all pertinent information, we will create the pre-vis.

Share.

A shared vision:  When your patients pre-vis is complete, we will send you a private and secured link to view which will allow you to share your pre-vis with your patient at their next appointment.
